Preparations for JARCA 2026: high-level strategic exchanges

As part of the preparations for the very first African CERDI Alumni Network Day (JARCA 2026), a delegation from the CERDI Alumni Network Benin Office had the honour of being received by Mr. Ngueto Tiraina Yabamye, President of FAGACE.
This working session allowed to exchange on the main orientations of this ambitious pan-African event, which aims to feed a strategic reflection on development policies in Africa, in the era of technological changes, especially those related to artificial intelligence.

Discussions also focused on:
✔️ the challenges of financing development in Africa
✔️ the role of regional financial institutions in supporting economic transformation
✔️ the prospects of partnership around JARCA
We commend the quality of the exchanges as well as the strong interest of the President of FAGACE for this initiative, which aims to mobilize African and international expertise around the continent's major challenges.
JARCA 2026 promises to be an unprecedented framework for dialogue, innovation and co-construction of solutions for Africa's development.
